Marine Superheroes (Palma Aquarium)

🐠 Marine Superheroes: A Family Ocean Rescue Adventure 📅 March 14 – June 30, 2026 📍 Palma Aquarium, Palma This spring,...

📍 Palma Aquarium, Palma This spring, Palma Aquarium invites families to step into an underwater world of wonder with Superhéroes Marinos: Misión Rescate Oceánico – a playful and educational adventure designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and care for our oceans. 🦸‍♀️ A family adventure beneath the surface Did you know the ocean is full of real-life superheroes? From masters of camouflage to creatures with extraordinary senses and powerful defence mechanisms, this interactive experience brings their stories to life. Young explorers will receive a “Pasaporte Marino” , guiding them through a series of missions across the aquarium. Along the way, they’ll discover fascinating marine species, unlock their unique “superpowers,” and collect illustrated cards inspired by real ocean animals. 🌍 Learning through play Beyond the fun, the experience carries an important message. The passport includes eco-tips — simple, everyday actions that help protect the sea and fight some of its biggest threats, from plastic pollution to habitat loss. It’s a hands-on way for children (and adults) to connect with marine biodiversity and understand how small actions can make a big difference. 🌊 About Palma Aquarium & its mission Home to one of Europe’s deepest shark tanks and over 8,000 marine animals, Palma Aquarium is more than just a visitor attraction – it’s a centre for marine education, research, and conservation . Through the Fundación Palma Aquarium, the team actively works to protect Mediterranean ecosystems, rescue endangered species such as sea turtles, and raise awareness about the urgent need to preserve our oceans for future generations. ✨ Why go? A meaningful family plan that blends fun, learning, and purpose – and a chance to become, even just for a day, a true guardian of the ocean.

📍 Espai Buit, Palma | In person & online (Event in Spanish) What if true freedom begins within? In this thought-provoking talk, Berta Meneses invites us on a journey of inner transformation – moving beyond intellectual understanding into lived, embodied wisdom. Through reflection and awareness, we’ll explore how many of our choices are shaped by fear, conditioning, or a subtle sense of lack. This session offers gentle yet powerful insights to help recognise these patterns and open the door to a more conscious, authentic way of living – guided by trust, presence, and a deeper sense of inner fullness. At its heart, this is an invitation to reconnect with love as a transformative force. ✨ About the speaker Berta Meneses is a Filipense nun and internationally recognised Zen teacher. She leads the Mathematics and Religious Culture Departments at Colegio Ntra. Sra. de Lourdes in Barcelona, and in 1998 was appointed Zen Master of the Sanbozen International Zen School in Kamakura, Japan, under the name JiKu-An (“Hermitage of Emptiness and Compassion”). With decades of experience, she has been actively engaged in interreligious dialogue since 1990, offering meditation courses and participating in seminars across Europe, the United States, and Latin America. She is also President of the Asociación Zen Dana Paramita (Barcelona) and Vice President of the Fundación Valores Humanos Espiritualidad Emergente.
